Lisa O’Kane
Demands Love
On February 1
Her New Single
"No Tomorrow"
Set For Release Via Country HotDisc

Nashville, TN (January 20, 2004) - - Lisa O’Kane demands love on her latest single, "No Tomorrow." Punchy, electric and "in the pocket," this record is the hot, first release from O’Kane’s upcoming second CD, PEACE OF MIND, due out in March.

A popping bass and a skillet-hot electric guitar set the pace for O’Kane as she romps through an upbeat musical challenge to her lover. There is wisdom in the lyric, written by the talented Mark Fosson; Life gives no guarantees and we should live - and love - accordingly. Mandolin and multiple guitars create a great "wall of sound effect," and "No Tomorrow" is the perfect showcase for Lisa’s rangy vocals. The record jumps through the speakers, reaches out, grabs you – and never lets you go.

Finding the song was a lucky break for O’Kane, who found this song on a demo disc of several songs written by Mark Fosson that were stored in a garage. "It was absolutely perfect for what I was looking to put on my album," Lisa says. "It follows my motto of living one day at a time and grasping life in the moment," says the artist MOJO magazine calls a "country diva."

February is shaping up to be a banner month for the talented Californian. Not only will this single be released on the Country HotDisc, but Lisa will also travel to Berlin. At her February 7 performance at the Country Music Messe, O’Kane will treat her audiences to a few selections from her upcoming CD, PEACE OF MIND. "It will be great to be overseas again – it’s been over six months since my last tour of Switzerland. I’ve been performing quite a bit here in the states, but my international fans are very special to me."

John Berry

John Berry has one of the most powerful voices in country music.  It's a  JohnBerryFlannel.jpg (239603 bytes)stunningly rich, majestic tenor that he uses to its full effect.  What better music for John to sing but love songs?  A classic voice singing classic love songs, plus his new, romantic single, "Will You Marry Me?"  I Give My Heart is John's first studio album in 3 years!

John Berry's extraordinary voice has been recognized by the Grammy Association, Country Music Association (CMA), and the Academy of Country Music, with several awards and nominations.  He had his first #1 single in 1994 with "Your Love Amazes Me," and followed up with more Top 10 releases, such as "Kiss Me in the Car," "You and Only You," "Change My Mind," and "Standing on the Edge of Goodbye."  John recently wowed the crowd and received high praise from former President George H. Bush and wife Barbara when he was invited to sing for Mr. Bush's birthday party.

This past summer, John Berry hit the stage with friends David Lee Murphy and Lee Roy Parnell on the Paintin' the Town Tour.  Beginning in February, John plans to hit 24 cities for what promises to be an amazing tour, appropriately named the Love Tour.  His previous album, Songs and Stories, was released in May 2002 and has independently sold over 10,000 copies at shows, online, and thru his fan club.  He also re-released his live Christmas CD, O Holy Night Live, for the 2003 holiday season.

John Berry Update
Listen To "Will You Marry Me"!

January 27, 2004

John Berry's new single, "Will You Marry Me" on his new classic love songs CD I Give My Heart, has just been released to radio, and it is already being used in wedding proposals!

Scot Whittington, of Destin, FL, was driving to work one morning and heard "Will you marry me" on his local radio station. He then called John's fan club and told them his plans for proposing to his girlfriend, Jennifer Hall of Crestview, FL. I Give My Heart had yet to be released, but the fan club agreed to ship an advance of the CD that day.

Shortly after receiving the CD, Jennifer and her kids from a previous marriage met Scot at a restaurant in Destin. On the drive home, Scot asked Jennifer's older daughter, Chassidy, for her blessing. She helped him decorate the house with candles before Jennifer and her son Hunter got home. Once they got home he gave Chassidy a teddy bear, Hunter a toy four-wheeler, and Jennifer 100 red roses. He then played the John Berry CD and gave Jennifer a new pair of shoes. He told her that just like the shoes, he will also walk with her through good times and bad, tough times and sad. Just as he finished putting the new shoes on her feet, "Will You Marry Me" began playing. While still on his knees from putting her shoes on, he reached under the couch, got the ring, and asked her to marry him. She said "yes", and they are planning on having a wedding on the beach in Destin the first weekend of May. I Give My Heart will be played at the wedding.

I Give My Heart, on Clear Sky Records, is available on www.johnberry.net or by calling his fan club at 615-297-7002. Beginning in February, John plans to hit 24 cities for what promises to be an amazing tour in support of the new CD and single, appropriately named the Love Tour.

 Music Highway Songwriters Association
Attention artist, managers, producers and publishers

Are you looking for songs for your next CD? We know that some of the songs listed at Music Highway Songwriters Association will eventually be recorded by big artists. All the great songs do not come from the well established writers, even though a lot of them do; but each one of those well established writers had their first cut at one time or another. Think of all the great songs the world would have had to do without if Johnny Cash had not cut Kris Kristopherson's, "Sunday Morning Coming Down"; or if Harlan Howard never got "Pick Me Up On Your Way Down" recorded; or if Jeannie C. Riley had not recorded Tom T. Hall's, "Harper Valley PTA." You never know when or where the next "Hank" is going to show up. All we ask of you is that you take a few minutes and listen. We realize that, if even one of our songs is really bad, that you may not ever listen to another; so we go to great pains to make sure all of the songs at  Music Highway Songwriters Association are good. We screen them real close before they are posted at Music Highway Songwriters Association.

The following is one of Jerry Mac's poems that's receiving rave reviews

A Friend Dressed In White

A stranger came to see me one dark and lonely night.
He appeared so beautiful in his clothing of white.
He made me feel very good. I’d smile most of the time.
I felt sure the man dressed in white was a friend of mine.

He made me feel things I had never felt in the past,
And as long as he was there these good feelings would last.
He taught me to dance better, and to not be afraid.
He placed me in the sunlight, took me out of the shade.

But when I needed a friend the most, he turned on me.
Left me alone with my self-pity and my mis’ry.
I was lonely again and I’d never felt such pain.
My friend dressed in white was named cocaine
