SOUTH SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL Club Show dates: Tuesday, April 5 – Saturday April 9 2005 Nashville, TN (March 16, 2005). - The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) has released the schedule for the 13th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival held in Nashville Tennessee from Monday, April 4 – Saturday April 9 2005. Club Show performances are the highlight of Tin Pan South with over 80 shows in venues all over Nashville throughout the week. "Tin Pan South presents a once-a-year opportunity to hear the best songwriters in the world performing the radio hits of the future," says Tin Pan South festival Director, Susan Stewart. The Tin Pan South Club Show schedule is now posted on the Tin Pan South website, www.tinpansouth.com and features the performance times and venues of over 250 of the world’s top songwriters. This year, Tin Pan South performers include the likes of PETER FRAMPTON, RODNEY CROWELL, JEFFREY STEELE, DIERKS BENTLEY, CAROLYN DAWN JOHNSON, JIMMY WAYNE, BRYAN WHITE, JEDD HUGHES, KEVIN WELCH, JASON SELLERS, CHUCK CANNON, SHAWN COLVIN, JONATHA BROOK, JIM REILLEY, LARI WHITE, and JASON WHITE, just to name a few. Look for the Official Tin Pan South Festival Program in the March 25th issue of the Nashville Scene available in locations throughout Nashville. (Note: schedule is subject to change) Club Show cover charges range from $7 to $25 per show. If you plan to attend several Tin Pan South club shows, your best option is to pick up a Five-Day Club Pass for $45 (the same price as last year's four-day pass!) from the NSAI office at 1701 West End Avenue, Third Floor, Nashville, TN 37203. The NSAI office is open M-F from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. You may reserve a pass by phone with a credit card by calling NSAI at (615) 256-3354. Quantities are limited. Additionally, passes will be sold cash-only at the door of Tin Pan South venues during the first two nights of Club Shows, Tuesday, April 5th and Wednesday April 6th while supplies last The Five-Day Club Pass admits the holder to all Tin Pan South Club Shows. This pass does not guarantee seating or admission. Please arrive early. Reservations are strongly recommended at The Bluebird Café. Lineups subject to change. Some venues may require a per-person food/beverage minimum purchase. Named in honor of the famous Tin Pan Alley in New York City, NSAI's Tin Pan South is the nation's largest annual weeklong festival spotlighting the songwriter and the song.
