Pete Schlegel Has Released “Somethin’ Strong” Off Of His "Strong Stuff" Album.

“Somethin’ Strong” was written by Marty Brown and Mark Anderson. It can Pete Schlegel, country singerbe found on Mark Trail Music compilation #10, track #4.

Pete Schlegel’s music isn’t easily tagged, but a guitar-driven, up-tempo, honky-tonk sound describes it best. Reminiscent of his inspirations, Ernest Tubb, George Jones, and Brooks & Dunn, Schlegel’s sound is timeless. Schlegel’s vocals are delivered just the way they’re written: genuinely. No pretension or glossy over production, just the range of human emotions and experience of one man. Schlegel’s endearing and approachable personality makes for songs that every woman wishes her man could sing to her.

While Pete Schlegel always has had an interest in music, encouragement from those around him was the driving force behind the formation his seven-piece band, Tru South. With his popularity on the rise and the riggers of touring, Pete would have to choose between his normal life as an Ohio State Trooper and EMS helicopter pilot, and his childhood dream. It didn’t take Pete long to decide. In March 2002, Pete headed to Nashville, where he began working with producer Clyde Brooks (Perfect Stranger).

Pete Schlegel has had two previous Top 50 National Music Row Chart singles: “Short for Gone” and “Leavin’ Ain’t as Easy as It Sounds”. He was also the GAC Hot Pick Artist during November and December 2004 for his “It Takes a Whole Lotta Liquor to Like Her” video.

Hank Cochran's Recovery Gets A Boost - Legendary Entertainer Bob Dylan Adds "A-11" To Show

Nashville, TN (March 25, 2005) - Hank Cochran's recovery from triple by-pass Hank Cochran and Willie Nelsonsurgery got a boost today, when he learned that legendary entertainer Bob Dylan had added Cochran's "A-11" to his stage show.

"I think it's great," says Cochran from his Hendersonville, Tennessee home. "It's always nice to know that one of your songs is being played for a whole new crowd." Previously a hit for Buck Owens, the song has also been recorded by Johnny Paycheck and Clinton Gregory.

Dylan has included the country classic in his encores at several dates across the country. Hank hasn't spoken to Dylan about the performances - yet. "I met him many years ago with Johnny Cash," Hank says. "When I get to feelin' a little more like myself, I may just give him a call and tell him 'thanks.
