Reed's first-ever gospel single, "A Brand New Me"
(from his brand new LIVE! STILL CD), will debut on the New
Christian Music Compilation (www.newchristianmusic.co.uk) June
1. The upbeat song of praise and redemption was written and added to
Jerry's live show four years ago and marks a dream come true for him.
"My life was very simple," says the Guitar Man.
"Growing up, I went to church. I was saved and became a
Christian. Then I got into this business and went to Hell in a hand
basket. And no matter what I did, no matter how much money I made,
there was an empty place. I've since come back, renewed my
relationship with Christ and now everything is on Go! I'm full
again." Reminiscent of the true gospel songs made popular by the
Statler Brothers and other gospel greats, the track is vibrant, with a
tenor highlight that sparkles and shines.
