Big & Rich, Freddy Powers, & Willie Nelson

   This past weekend, the William Morris Agency, Muzik Mafia, and CMT
were in the Austin area filming a CMT special with Big and Rich. Legendary
songwriter, Freddy Powers was a part of the festivities. Big and Rich's next DVD will be focusing on Big and Rich's relationship with Freddy, and Freddy's induction into the Godfathers of the Muzik Mafia. Additional footage featured Freddy and Willie Nelson with Big and Rich at Willie's World Headquarters. Freddy will be joining Big and Rich in Las Vegas and Reno Dec. 8th and 10th. Big and Rich also have a dedication to Freddy on their new CD Fan Pack Galactic. The title track of Freddy's new Smith Entertainment CD, "My Great Escape" was written by Big Kenny and John Rich.

Keep An Eye Out For Pauline Reese

   Keep an eye out for Pauline Reese on CMT. The Country Music Television Network recently cut a show on the legendary singer/songwriter, Freddy Powers. They interviewed and filmed performances of his pals Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Rattlesnake Annie, Djanjo Porter, Pauline Reese, and long time pal, Willie Nelson.
   Pauline sang their honky tonk hit, "One Less Honky Tonk" for the cameras. Then the party went on into the night with Willie Nelson at his show at The Austin Music Hall. Big Kenny (of Big & Rich) and Pauline sang harmonies with Willie on some standard gospel tunes while the cameras rolled!
